How the iWave System Works
The iWave uses a patented technology called needlepoint bipolar ionization. This process creates equal amounts of positive and negative ions. By injecting these ions into your airstream, it’s possible to break down passing pollutants and gases. They are turned into harmless compounds instead like carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, or water vapor.
When viruses, bacteria, or mold come into contact with the ions, the hydrogen molecules are removed. This strips the pathogens of their energy, causing them to die.
Ions can also attach to allergens like pollen. When this happens, they band together until they are large enough to be caught in the air filter.
